Mr. Yu Peng
Managing Director, Yunbo
As the co-founder and core management of Yunbo, Mr. Yu has initiated and developed core competency for the company as well as established key business partnerships with China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, various mobile phone set manufacturers, on-line game operators, and much more. Mr. Yu grew the company to be one of the top ten wireless service providers in China with an annual turnover of RMB100M.
Prior to Yunbo, Mr. Yu established Shenzhen Ke Ji Ye System Integration Co., Ltd. (KJY) from 1995 to 2000. As the leader in providing a solution of the stock exchange system in China, KJY got the chance to serve for many well-known stock companies; it provided one comprehensive solution for more than 20 business offices of Xiangcai Stock. KJY’s clients also included ABN AMRO TEDA Fund Management Co., ltd (JV with ABN). The turnover of KJY reached about RMB100 M.
During that period Mr.Yu also took the rights as the agent to run two popular on-line games in Hunan province.
As VP of sales in Shenzhen Advanced System Integration Co., Ltd. from 1993 till 1995 Mr. Yu was mainly responsible for business development. Major clients that were explored by him included Jun An Stock, and Nan Fan Stock.
Mr. Rong Hong
General Manager, Yunbo
As co-founder and core management of Yunbo, from 2000 till now Mr. Rong’s major role is on operations and supporting the development and growth of the Company.
From 1994 till 1999 Mr. Rong was a professor at Hunan University in Changsha, China, for Computer Science.
Mr. Rong was awarded by Hunan provincial government the highest prize for his contribution in science and technology development and the social benefit being resulted.
Miss. Honglin Jia
Managing Director - Greater China, Galleon Holdings Plc
Honglin Jia has a strong media background with 12 years experience in the Chinese and international film and TV industries.
In China, she has worked as a producer, researcher and presenter with several leading broadcasters, including Beijing TV and NHK. In 2000, she joined China's biggest independent film and TV production and distribution company, Poly-Asia Union Film & Media Group, as International Development Director and Assistant to the President. She was a key member of the team responsible for several successful co-productions, including Peacock, winner of the Jury Grand Prix award at the Berlin Film Festival.
In the UK, she worked as the Asia Sales and Online Marketing Executive for a fast growth internet company, before joining Entertainment Rights, a leading player in the global children's and family entertainment sales, managing key relationships and sourcing new business opportunities. Her role involved working closely with Consumer Products teams to co-ordinate market strategies and integrate traditional and new media platforms for successful properties including Postman Pat.
Honglin is a graduate of the prestigious Beijing Film Academy and received her MA in Media Management and CIM (Certificate Institute of Marketing) in the UK. Her 1999 publication "Guide to Film Marketing" was the first to compare the US and Chinese film industries and is now required reading for film studies in China.
